don’t worry about it
weird that the installation guide is hosted on a separate website that hasn’t been updated in eight years. that’s irresponsible of them. anyway rufus is a better version of etcher that you can download for windows.
that’s not something i’ve ever had to do, i’ve only done that for hard drives.
i’ve never needed to set a single flag with dd. i just do if=the_iso of=the_disk
. what flags?
that’s correct. on windows, rufus is a better tool, and on linux or mac it’s just a built-in command with a manual packed in.
also, ubuntu ships with startup image creator, and gnome disks ships as a flatpak, if those are more your speed.
use rufus.
use rufus.
i still don’t understand why anyone would use etcher. it’s an electron wrapper over dd
. it’s 80MB where rufus is 1.5. when it appeared there were already other programs that did its job better.
the cybertruck does that. it’s still allowed.
because the stringy bits, like the rind, are bitter, which changes the flavour of the fruit.
here it comes in two varieties, one is about 10cm across, one about 5 and comes as a ring. don’t know how the big ones are made but i assume they are boiled. good sandwich spread.
there’s a smoked horse sausage here that’s great. it’s very different than beef or pork so it can’t be used in the same way, but it’s very good.
horse is good eating. good for the climate too, since horses require so much maintenance. if we eat’em, they’re gone.
if there’s an XO mandating right-hand drive in the next few weeks, you’ll know which.
get with the times. /s
More seriously, most parts of the car already need to be changed for the RHD market. punching a hole in the front left fender instead of the front right is not a big problem, and the cable is easy enough to reroute.
charge ports should always be on the right, because it allows street side charging. VW is the only one who’s got this right.
where’s the cat lady from treasure planet
i mean, here you can just type the plate number into an open government website and it shows your home address. not really seeing a lot of consequences of that.
