Probably, since a few days I can’t skip through stories either, and after opening comments it scrolls back to the top. It’s getting to the point that I’ll probably delete my account, what’s the point of this website if you can’t use it.
As someone who’s been (in the distant past) known to engage in questionable behaviour while black out drunk, you still need to be somewhat of an asshole to act like this. So he did mean it, even if he normally doesn’t want, and would be ashamed, to act this way.
In my case, being an asshole was influenced by my work environment, so I’m doing a lot better today, both on the asshole and the drinking front.

Thanks, I will. Luckily I realized the wrong quick enough. It wasn’t the knock out kind of failure, and they installed three stents in my arteries the very next day. Feeling good right now, though side effects of some medications can suck at times.
I had a real one last year, it was bloody awful and not like anything I’d ever experienced before.
Quantum computing has been around the corner for years already. Some time after the crypto boom of 2017/18 you could read articles about how crypto was going to be dead by 2025 because of quantum computers hacking the block chain with ease. Still waiting for that one.
As an engineer, I prefer to call it minmalism.

Not a lot, make sure they have food and water, and that they are sheltered from predators at night. We have six hens and a rooster. The work consists of cleaning the coop once a week, and at the same time clean and refill the water dispenser and fill up the food reservoir. My kids do this in half an hour. We also have to pick up the eggs daily. We raised our Brahma chickens ourselves after hatching them in an incubator, and they are wonderful pets.
Edit: because we feed them a more varied diet, the eggs also taste better.
As a European I have to say, you are very optimistic about our train schedules.

In some cases, the wealth might simple be gone because the stock crashes of which the bulk of the wealth is built.

I haven’t seen them a long time either, but these days the six packs are completely wrapped in plastic. Another win for the packaging industry I guess.
