So, you’re averaging 5?
Absolute favourite when I was a kid and still love it. Best show back in the day.
Deep down in that shallow little pool.
Still an absolutely amazing bit of knowledge that was simply shared in the wrong place.

What’s the actual end-game plan here? Wouldn’t some kind of scam work better on bigger, more populated social media like Facebook or Twitter?
I just can’t imagine what the actual goal of this spammy bullshit is on the Fediverse specifically.
Sorry, as a non-American I should probably stop assuming everyone on here is American. I’ve been reading so much bad news about them and their new presidents that I always reply as if I’m talking to an American.
This mentality will get you hurt or killed. You need a group you can work with. This individualism isn’t gonna get you anywhere in the current situation.
Nothing special. Just post it there. If I understand correctly, it will be crossposted automatically. That happened to me when I made a post anyway.
They probably felt like rats in a cage or something similar. Very limiting and stifling, claustrophobic little boxes. I have to say though, if this little box gives me even an extra inch of privacy or silence I’ll take it. Leave me alone while I’m working.
This seems appropriate for crossposting to bertstrips.

L3ft_F13ld!@lemmy.dbzer0.comto memes@lemmy.world•Do they seriously think their begging is effective with us adblockers‽English2·6 months agoYeah. It really is sad, but I’m not going to do something that is directly negatively impacting me just to keep up a site run by someone I don’t even know.
L3ft_F13ld!@lemmy.dbzer0.comto memes@lemmy.world•Do they seriously think their begging is effective with us adblockers‽English3·6 months agoI don’t have one. That’s part of the problem. The ads system needs to be fundamentally changed. But I’m still not going to expose myself and my devices to malicious ads and malware for the sake of your small site. It’s not worth the risk for me personally.
L3ft_F13ld!@lemmy.dbzer0.comto memes@lemmy.world•Do they seriously think their begging is effective with us adblockers‽English3·6 months agoNo not at all. But the ads on the internet are actively malicious. They’re misleading at best and actually dangerous at worst. I refuse to support that.
I really am sorry for the smaller sites that need the ads to run. But I won’t help you if the ads don’t change.
L3ft_F13ld!@lemmy.dbzer0.comto memes@lemmy.world•Do they seriously think their begging is effective with us adblockers‽English71·6 months agoI can appreciate your viewpoint, but I disagree. If I can’t use my adblocker on your site, I don’t need your site.
There are no acceptable ads and there haven’t been for a very long time. Plus, I’ve been blocking ads for so long I can’t even remember an internet that has them. Probably part of the reason why I refuse any kind of ads.
The money is your brakes.
It is available on iOS. I just didn’t want to speak about that side of the app ecosystem since I don’t know any more than Voyager.
There are multiple. There’s Voyager, also available as a PWA if you want to stick to using your browser. I personally use Thunder most days.
The “official” app, made by the main lemmy dev is Jerboa, but like most first party fediverse apps, it’s barebones compared to third party offerings.
ETA:
I’m on Android. Don’t really know about iPhone options.
I’m using Thunder on mobile and opening images shows their alt text under the image.
Some sites will show alt text when you hover your mouse over an image on PC as well.
Screen readers are the main use for alt text to describe the images to visually impaired users though.
That was my first guess. But, no it’s not.
I’m not American and I’m sure there are legitimate reasons to mock both Walmart and its clientelle, but this ain’t it, Chief.
