Is there a higher quality version of this meme I can send to my boss so I can skip the standup meeting tomorrow?
Hey, thanks for reading my bio. You know, you’re pretty cool. I’m glad we got to share this moment together.

It may have changed since I used it, but when I signed up, it required two.
Riseup requires invite codes from 2 active users, I believe.
I used to have an account, but lost access after a device of mine was stolen.
Awesome. Signed up for the waitlist, can’t wait to try it out.
I like this organization method, feels very ADHD-friendly
I’m curious about the math you did to come to that final number
I usually get a reciept, but that’s because I like to scan/archive them and keep track of how prices change over time
Neat idea, or, you could just tell them directly and be like “hey I’m not gonna respond here due to [reasons], come find me on signal if ya wanna chat”
People are usually more engaged when you communicate to them directly
I’ve been trying to find a more privacy-friendy alternative to Discord but I keep coming back to the issue of screen sharing. No other platform does it as smoothly.
The best I’ve found is using Parsec with some virtual audio cables to avoid voice feedback.
All I know is that I’ve never connected my TV to the internet and never gotten ads on it
Not saying more sinister things aren’t possible, but for my TV to connect to some kind of mesh net, it would probably need a firmware update, which its not going to get, because again, its not connected to the internet.
Iirc that’s specifically for amazon devices, this was regarding Samsung TVs
Don’t connect it to the internet
Until I joined Lemmy I had no idea how militant vegans could be. I sorta just assumed they were a different brand of vegetarian.
I’m not opposed to their ideaology in any way, but after reading the comments on a few posts that found their way into my feed… I had to block their communities. It didn’t seem likely that I’d be reading any productive discourse there.
I like it here. People are quite nice for the most part
I withdrew from college and was able to enter the workforce directly, but a few years later I’ve decided to go back and knock out the rest of my 4 year degree.
I’ll probably end up with ~20k+ in debt by the time I’m out, but I’ll be re-entering the workforce with a degree AND nearly a decade of relevant career experience, which I’m hoping will help considerably.
Worst case scenario I figure it will make it easier for me to move somewhere abroad, should the US continue to decline the way it has been.
I’ve gotten nearly my entire circle on Signal and it’s incredibly satisfying. No more worrying about seeing ads based on my text conversations.
I mean, companies with a lot of employees, sure. But companies that are mostly just data, like movie watching sites, do it all the time
Yeah. Its not perfect but filtering primary news topics makes casual browsing much more chill
