Well I must have misread the context of your comment because I didn’t need that explained and agree with you.
No I’m saying Dems moved to the right and aren’t representing the people who historically have voted for them because they’re chasing the corporate donors and right wingers
Well on this specific detail we agree entirely!
Not who you replied to, but how so?
YOU POSTED the comment they are rebutting. And your reply to the rebuttal of your own comment is “completely agree?”
Personally I don’t care if a CEO voted a different way to me, or even if a whole board did. This should not have any bearing on Proton’s product or what makes it better than others.
I won’t have a friend who supports Trump, because to do so is to support a regressive, bigoted, jackbooted view of the world and how things should be done. I don’t speak to my Trump supporting family members except when family situations force us to.
WHY ON EARTH would I trust my privacy to a company whose entire board supports that view, much less their CEO?
This doesn’t seem bad? Its true dems embraced the corporate side.
Are you trying to argue that R is less entrenched with rich oligarchs and corporate money than the Dems? Because I musk object if so.
I doubt very much his dictation sounded anything like that tweet. There may have been five or ten words in common.
Nooooooo not Proton! 😡
DOJ: Police Shooting Family Dogs has Become ‘Epidemic’
Cops in this country kill so many dogs each year that a specialist at the Department of Justice’s (“DOJ”) community-oriented program services office says it has become an “epidemic.” The DOJ estimates that around 25 to 30 dogs are killed by cops every day, with some numbers as high as 10,000 per year. The totals could, in fact, be higher, since most police agencies do not formally track officer-involved shootings involving animals.
Ah fair point!
And, frankly, this magazine is on notice. If it starts being 100% US politics it’s getting blocked as well. I have zero regrets about this new policy I’m implementing.
You say this like someone is going to change their behavior based on it. No one at all has regrets about you choosing to exercise the block early block often ethos of the fediverse. I salute your decision to control your own feed.
I’m sorry our politics is everywhere (sincerely) - I’m not going to stop talking about it though.
If his past performance + Project 2025 + Musk haven’t combined to convince you that the first win was a surprise to everyone and his handlers are far more ready this time around, you are as deluded as those who voted for him.
Democrats spent four years trying not to piss off R too much by doing anything about Jan 06 (among other things), then 2 months trying to woo R votes
R spent four years getting ready for this, and are ready to tear shit down. Shit will go downhill rapidly after Jan 20.
He’s worthy of our attention. Stupid and assholish or not, he’s literally the most powerful man on the planet (aside from Elon Musk) right now.
Infighting among all those trying to deploy him as their personal attack dog is about the most hopeful thing we have right now.–
I seriously wonder if a 30 days earlier event would have changed the outcome of the election.
