Wow, that’s a really complete list. Thanks for sharing! I might check out Dokploy some time, it sounds interesting.

I mean it has JS, I’d call it a web app lol
Implying that the Republicans now “stand for the little guys” is dumb but also arguably true
How is it true exactly? Republicans do not care about the little guys in any way lol
I use it for Plex/Jellyfin, it’s the cheapest NVIDIA GPU that supports both AV1 encoding and decoding, even though Plex doesn’t support AV1 yet IIRC it’s still more futureproof that way. I picked it up for like around $200 on a sale, it was well worth it IMO.
64GB would be a nice amount of memory to have. I’ve been okay with 32GB so far thankfully.
Not anymore. My main self-hosting server is an i7 5960x with 32GB of ECC RAM, RTX 4060, 1TB SATA SSD, and 6x6TB 7200RPM drives.
I did used to host some services on like a $5 or $10 a month VPS, and then eventually a $40 a month dedi, though.
I think this meme would work better in reverse lol
Well, presumably people are in the gym because they’re signing up, then they proceed to not show up for the rest of the year lol
Truest thing I’ve ever seen lmao
How do you turn on canvas randomisation in Firefox? I can’t seem to find anything about it.
I got 17.5 on my Desktop Firefox lol
I’m not necessarily convinced either, it does seem really convenient how they found him.
Self-hosting is definitely a ton of fun. I love being able to host my own services, whether it’s using like a server in the cloud or my own hardware.
Healthcare companies, especially insurance companies, make a living out of denying claims so that people go bankrupt and/or die from denied claims. It’s unethical and downright evil, but they do it anyway. It would be hard not to hate the CEOs of those companies. After all, medical expenses is the leading cause of bankruptcies in USA.
Apparently their PC rental program is a worse value than illegal loans that are likely mafia-backed.
It’s funny, sad, and kind of true, but to be fair you can create some pretty cool images with AI (think stable-diffusion) even with just mid to high-end consumer hardware.
I don’t even have a “Security and Privacy”, just a “Privacy Settings”, and then in there I don’t see anything about Reset Advertising Id, just something like “Advertising Preferences” that has “Allow Outlook to s hare data to show you more relevant ads”.
I think likely what I would have to do is add a personal email account to outlook, and then pay for a subscription on that, to get it to hide ads for my work email - but I don’t really want to have to add a second email, I just want it for my work email, and then ideally I’d just pay through Play Store or whatever, but they don’t even allow that.
Oh well. Maybe one day I will stop being lazy and find another email client that works well with my work email and has busy hours etc.
Yes, pretty much. It looks the same as regular unread emails except they identify them with “Ad”. It’s distracting and annoying and you can’t remove it.
I had that happen at a Taco Bell once.
I really wanted Taco Bell, so I waited 40 minutes in line while the person in front of me was arguing with the employees at the window. I’m not sure if it was someone arguing over expired coupons for 40 minutes, or if it was some annoying shithead trying to do a viral stunt or what the problem was, but I really wanted Taco Bell and I was going to get it.
edit: It was worth the wait, but only just barely.
