seamonkey but it’s pretty hard to use without much love nowadays with so many incompatible websites. It’s a perfect mail client tho.
Just get Firefox ESR with arkenfox, that should be enough.

I use this and rsync the folder. https://f-droid.org/packages/com.github.tmo1.sms_ie/
Congrats! Works fine from sdf.org as well
wtf is this a copypasta lol
It seemed extremely sketchy to me, most results were from other engines and it was embracing some weird crypto.
It’s good. Never had any issues, and I’m on the free plan.
And then the next screen asks if I want the VPN app to block ads, trackers and/or malware. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-change-my-privacy-features) I already have Pihole on my network, so I don’t enable those features either.
Those DNS blocklist features are on Mullvad as well. FYI your PiHole won’t work while connected thru VPN, if it does you’re leaking DNS.
you’re right, but startpage is slower than lightweight google :p
It seemed like the Key2 recently got a successful bootloader unlock. There’s no custom rom for it yet but hopefully someone might in the near future. Or you can just debloat the stock rom, but that would be Android 8.1.
Luckily, as of today I can still set my user agent to something like a Playstation or ancient firefox/IE to get a lightweight HTML-based page. The results are in www.google.com/url?q= format but I can use a redirector extension for that.
it just wastes my system’s resource for no gain. imo it’s sufficient to have a proper adblock + js/cookie/xhr whitelist + container tabs.
if you’re really paranoid you can rotate ip address or something similar,
is there anything interesting on i2p? (not sarcastic, genuinely questioning)
all i could find were things easier to get on the clearnet.
run pihole (or something similar) locally behind that vpn
doesn’t old reddit work well enough? they removed the login prompt but it can be restored pretty easily with a userscript (just inject the login prompt copied from the wayback machine)
they are usually about a specific device. These are the few I’m in.
t.me/eureka_roms (Exynos 7884/5 Galaxy phones)
t.me/eliteroms_sexynos (Exynos 5443, 8890, 8895, 9810)
t.me/exynos9820oss (Exynos 9820)
t.me/LGG7V40Customs (LG’s SDM845 devices)
i kinda wanna quit nowadays but android customization channels (custom roms, gcam etc) are moving there from xda nowadays so no choice :(
wish there was some read only tg scraper.
i have that issue as well, sometimes it’s missing results and other times i get the same result repeated on page 2. not sure why that happens, but i guess it’s just a bit buggy.
yeah it works but if you use a local instance you have to compile the extension yourself to include your instance.
i just use my local searxng instance and get results from like 10 engines including ddg, then filter with ublacklist
its just the ip, you can use a vpn
