I just woke up physically tired from sleep. Not in a “I’m sleepy” kind of way, in a “did I just run a fucking marathon why am I in so much pain” kind of way.
I didn’t ask for life.

Hot take, but it’s not like people understood the plot of that movie anyway, lol.
Take a film/book about toxic masculinity and the dangers of capitalist societies and a bunch of 20 year old boys with daddy issues will forget any message and worship Tyler forever after.
I absolutely hate OneDrive and similarly to you would go out of my way to save on my device for work. We had to upgrade to win11 recently and now all my documents, pictures, etc automatically redirect to OneDrive… :| this is an “improvement” according to them.
Also the amount of copilot that’s being pushed on us. I know AI can do lots of things but holy God let me read my own fucking emails.
I played this pick up stick one growing up on our 97, but I don’t know if that was exclusive.
I misread it as ‘sobriety’, but honestly… Both.
If anyone hasn’t seen the updated version for this song by fall out boy, I very much enjoyed it.
“no we didn’t light it, but we tried to fight it”
Just wait for the rest of the year. I had finally gotten done with 2016 and now this?
The impacts of people definitely live on so I wouldn’t necessarily say forgotten.
I was just reading about how Navajo and other Native peoples are being detained even if they show their Indian status cards (sorry idk the American name) because ICE doesn’t recognize them as legitimate proof of citizenship…
Where the fuck you gonna deport them to?
I’m not gonna go into all the details about colonial history and present day issues in Canada because that’s a huge topic and something a person needs time to digest and be open to learning, but in short, Canadians use 2S in front of/as a part of the acronym as a way to recognize and honour the oldest and one of the most marginalized and at-risk groups of people in Canada (two-spirit Indigenous individuals).
That being said (as you can see from my other comments) I often switch between using 2SLGBTQ+, LGBT+, queer, and many other forms of the acronym. It’s a personal choice and I’m not going to dictate how other people refer to the community. I’ll also note that the term 2SLGBTQI+ is the official term in my country (again, we include the 2S in the spirit of reconciliation)
Lmao I meant the genes that determine how much attraction you feel towards people (she is pan and I’m ace), but she probably took most of the attractiveness ones too.
For the same reason that lgbt+ people use self-chosen labels, it forms a way for us to bond and find community in primarily white environments. We have different lived experiences (to white folks) and sometimes it’s nice to find people with similar experiences to your own and that understand things from your point of view, labels can help with that.
Besides the world already labels us based on how we look so why can’t we use those labels to recognize each other and find unity in that.
Do you think it’s dumb that LGBTQ+ people group together for community (along with other purposes)?
In case you’ve actually never heard of it, BIPOC is the respectful way to refer to the global majority (black, indigenous, and people of colour) and is widely used not just across the internet but in professional settings and in general the world. It has nothing to do with someone “trolling the internet” too hard/needing to go outside. Talking shit on the label is akin to talking shit on people who identify with any of the 2SLGBTQ+ labels.
My sister was born first so I think she just took all of the attraction genes in the dressing room and left me with crumbs.
God, can we please get an intermission?
You forgot the smelt.
Not for me. If I try smoke or drink before playing a game I’m right out. Gaming’s actually what kept me sober for a long while.
But now games aren’t fun and I’m done with life so I just drink and smoke and watch television or go to sleep like a perfectly normal depressed person.
