Many block .ml comms as well as it being under a boycott. It’s also why I crossposted it
The below will explain why:
Why am I cross-posting .ml?
I cross-post from .ml to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm to reduce the influence of .ml comms and indirectly, the instance as a whole, to make it an easier decision for other instance admins to defederate because one key reason I identified that admins don’t want to defederate is because .ml still has some very large comms and some niche comms.

And so so much documentation on clear heavy handed censorship and bias also on the link. So much I can’t even put them all here because this comment would be really long.
I believe the behavior of its admins (the main admins are Lemmy devs) does harm to the overall growth of the Lemmy-verse and maybe even the Thrediverse (since Lemmy kinda kicked off the Thrediverse) because of its association with the devs of Lemmy and their insistence to use .ml as their personal political platform to spread harmful propaganda
On the outside, bringing up Lemmy frequently leads to comments like “Lemmy? Isn’t that the place with a bunch of tankies?” Or “Tried Lemmy, but found it full of pro Russia crap so I left”. The best way forward from that I see is to either widely defederate from .ml like the rest of the Triad, or pressure them to put a fair and unbiased as possible admin team.

It’s beginner level, the hard part is the reverse proxy, once you have a grasp on that just having it on a dedicated box in a segmented portion on your firewall designated as the DMZ is easy. Id even go so far as to say its the bare minimum if you’re even considering exposing to the internet.
It doesn’t even need to be all that powerful since its just relaying packets as a middleman
Also run the reverse proxy on a dedicated box for it in the DMZ

If you don’t want to keep it that’s fine, but if you have any recordings of commercial media (like say VHS tape recordings of broadcast TV) it would be of major help and contribution if you at least go through what you have and see if any of it is !lostmedia@lemmy.world

Yea, I don’t think performance wise it’ll go exactly toe to toe with the 5090 but all signs point to them releasing 24GB models so that’s probably what they’re doing. But it’s unclear if those 24GB+ models are just for the Pro/AI models they’ve been talking about or coming to their consumer range
Rumored to be releasing high-end tier soon, so something to compete along the lines of 5070/5080/5090
You don’t need to “jack rabbit” out, but you shouldn’t be moving like a sloth either, every second of delay delays all other cars behind you and reduces overall traffic flow
