6·1 month agoI did 500ug once and had a very unpleasant experience, although some skilled psychonauts take 1 or even 2 milligram (2000ug) and enjoy the experience.

0·2 months agoAll my banking apps and credit card apps have worked flawlessly on Graphene OS. You’re correct that tap to pay doesn’t work, which is a bummer. But that is just Google spyware as well, honestly.
I heard about this a while ago, but I remember the GrapheneOS team talking about suing Google if they didn’t allow them to pass play integrity checks like they should be able to, but Google just doesn’t let them. That’s the only reason tap to pay doesn’t work and some baking apps have issues, its Google purposefully limiting graphene OS so they have a competitive edge somewhere.
Unfortunately, Know Your Customer has done a lot of damage to privacy, but there’s still a lot of exchanges where you can get Monroe with Bitcoin without Know Your Customer. And since Monroe is actually truly anonymous, you have a truly anonymous currency at that point.
And the Monroe developers are working on making atomic exchanges work better, which are peer-to-peer trading of coins with low overhead and fees because it’s direct. No middleman.

8·3 months agoYou’re substantially increasing your chances of developing some form of cancer vs baseline though.
Great video by Howtown on this that I think everyone should watch, at the end of the video here’s a snip of health outcomes vs alcohol consumption based on the most update to date science. The increased risk on the chart is per year, so with with 5 -6 drinks per day any given year you have ~1.5x the likely hood of developing an alcohol consumption related health problem, like cancer.

The key thing is Linux is free and open source, free as In eat shit and fucking die government fucking pigs.
As the other guy said, double edged sword. Asbestos was fucking great, and is still used for certain things because it’s great. The poor interaction with human biology was the other side of the sword.
An aside, I just pulled a fuck load of vinyl asbestos tile out of a house a year ago and while it wasn’t actually all that dangerous because I took proper precautions it’s sorta scary anyway cause of the poor interaction thing.
Theres evidence they use the very popular tool cursor that many devs and large companies use.

5·5 months agoMonero should be used. It’s the only really private/secure coin, although I think it’s proof of work too.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ same, but I try not to judge people for their interests because I have some wacky ones myself that other people would not get.

7·6 months agoI live in America. The USA is a disgusting fucking country who brings suffering on the world.
Been using them with a custom domain for about 8 months and love it, no issues at all.
The post is about security /privacy, the non American ceos political opinions don’t impact that. Proton is still a good VPN/mail provider
Just block his name, I have trump and Elon and varations of their names black listed so posts with them don’t show up on my feed.

Its a rendering from this funny cage Amazon patent, originally an idea for people to enter one of Amazon’s robotics floors to get amnesty, otherwise known as items on the floor.
In that case, the cage was for protection. So maybe the data labeler is being threatened by outside forces and needs the cage.
True, but I think it would be extremely easy to identify them from the strings of dozens of identical letters still visible on the hat.
The expanse is so good, and the books, and audiobooks are even better. I’m just finishing 6th audio book and while I loved the show the audio book (and book) are on another level. Highly recommend to anyone who likes space and sci-fi.

You absolutely could develop cancer that young from smoking that quantity of cigarettes and die
