Finally! Someone with a good opinion. ❤️
I agree with the 2 Switch games, absolutely. Loved BOTW. Did not love TOTK. The joy of exploration was why I loved it. They took that away by keeping the same territory. Felt like a big big DLC… not a stand-alone game. Sky & underground are so barren. Barely anything to call new to really adequately call it “new content”.
Reaping the benefits and then leaving more work for the people who already worked hard is fucking shitty. Don’t do that. Help out.
If you aren’t cooking
YOU SHOULD AT LEAST DO THE FUCKING DISHES AFTERWARD, YOU STUPID FUCK
The moment they took the cheesy potato burrito off the menu, it was over…
LOWER FOOD PRICES
Ha ha ha what a funny joke!
Because fashion is fun! (:
Things don’t always need to be practical.
“Submit and get over it!” 🤡
It’s not a particularly fun story to tell or to hear.
I’ll keep the mood light and just say I’m just happy that I am able to vote now.
I have had extremely good reasons why I was unable to vote since I’ve turned 18.
However, I finally registered to vote a few months ago, specifically to vote in this election.
I’m extremely nervous and don’t really know what to expect once I’m in my polling place, but I’ll be damned if I don’t do my part to prevent my country from becoming a fascist dictatorship with a man willing to throw its citizens into the grinder if it meant he gets a dollar out of it. Fuck that.
The constant “do stuff!!!”-push combined with the actual insane pricing of the experience, making it so that people feel the need to get all the worth they can from it, gave Jenny an anxiety attack, which she notes that she has never experienced before or since.
That’s fucking wild.
I am constantly cleaning my glasses. I’d like to recommend “koala cloths”! Because those standard microfiber cloths are absolute butt & seem to just redistribute smears. Koala cloths cleans out those smudges in seconds!
Seriously: it’s a miniscule investment, and you’ll thank me once you try it.
“Porco Rosso” is a about an ex-military seaplane pilot who battles air pirates. He also, incidentally, has been turned into a pig. It’s both fantastically funny and very occasionally heart-breaking.
It also has one of the best lines in cinema: “I’d rather be a pig than a fascist.”
Ghibli movies always appealed to me growing up because their female protagonists were very grounded, weren’t hyper-feminine to a comical degree, and actually did interesting things, like go on adventures. Their stories also did not focus solely on falling in love with a male character, and focused a lot on their unique internal struggles.
I would strongly suggest that anyone with a daughter give them the opportunity to see Ghibli movies. “Howl’s Moving Castle”, “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Porco Rosso”, “Whisper of the Heart”, “The Cat Returns”, and “Castle in the Sky” were important to me in my formative years. Boys may like them, too! My son particularly loves “Porco Rosso”, “Ponyo”, and “Spirited Away.”
Definitely give your kids a chance to see them.
Yeah! All of them!
