5·9 months agoI’m using GPodder with AntennaPod on my smartphone and Kasts on my PC. Works good if you don’t switch between smartphone and PC very often (it syncs every x minutes with the server, so it can get out of sync if you start using your other device and sync hadn’t happened yet)
They didn’t have that good cameras back then
I kinda get why the GrapheneOS developers don’t want their product discussed on reddit: Imagine you’re searching for a problem with GrapheneOS and the only thing popping up is a Reddit thread. They don’t want their users having to go there as the “only” option to get their problem fixed
For me its the opposite, I dont look in the future and miss all the deadlines

7·1 year agoPaperless-GPT looks promising:
paperless-gpt seamlessly pairs with paperless-ngx to generate AI-powered document titles and tags, saving you hours of manual sorting.
Always wondered why this isn’t built in, since paperless-ngx already has some nice AI features. When uploading a bulk of scanned documents, it’s always a hassle to name them all something meaningful.
Am I the only one seeing Jabba The Hut and a Death Star in this picture?

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Anyone else getting bounced from mainstream websites with Mullvad VPN?
1·1 year agoIt allows using reddit with my VPN (Mullvad) turned on. I don’t know why reddit offers such a workaround, but it works for me

161·1 year agoLife Hack: Replace the ‘www’ part from the URL with ‘sh’. For example: replace
www.reddit.com/post1/...with
sh.reddit.com/post1/...It should be easy to write a script that replaces these URLs. This allows using reddit with my VPN (Mullvad) turned on. I don’t know why reddit offers such a workaround, but it works for me.
Thanks, I’ll take a look at these
Oh right, I think I stumbled upon this issue as well. Have you checked if you’ve received any E-Mail? I didn’t know the account got suspended until I checked my mails
When I cleaning up my instagram account I wanted to delete all bookmarks. There was no button for “delete all”, so I also looked for a script. Then my account got suspended for like 2 weeks because its against their TOS to give such tools access to my account…

Privacy@lemmy.ml•What is the best cheap cell phones that support Lineage OS (or your perfected Privacy rom)?
17·2 years agohttps://www.kuketz-blog.de/grapheneos-der-goldstandard-unter-den-android-roms-custom-roms-teil7/ This author made a series about custom roms (unfortunately only in German, but Firefox has a built in translation function) where he tested what data was sent in the first 24 hours of using the custom roms without installing any new apps or changing the settings. To summarize it: Most custom roms still build up a connection to some Google server (like a SUPL server for example) and some custom roms have rather bad security practices (like waiting for a month before rolling out security updates). GrapheneOS is the only custom rom that doesn’t connect to any google servers and has exceptional security (even better than Stock Android).
Well I used to use it when I was still using normal Android. When I open Vanadium I get greeted with the last page I visited and I get distracted from that, so a search widget helps me.

Probably not exactly what you are looking for (and not maintained anymore) but this app allows you to set up your subscriptions (like phone plan, internet, streaming services, etc.) and it reminds you once the subscription is about to be renewed. You could set different time intervals for your different tasks.
