I will waste an inordinate amount of time to hunt down anyone who has killed me multiple times from a position. It’s more satisfying sometimes than just beating them with overall score. If I can do both…fuck yes.
I had the opposite. Jellyfin just works. Plex kept losing my movie folders, refused to play videos, wouldn’t screen cast, had problems with audio tracks, there always seemed to be a disconnect between app and server, they refused to connect despite both being the correct versions. It worked great initially, but got steadily more and more problematic over time. I gave up, even though I’d paid for it, and made a jellyfin server and have had zero trouble since.
Don’t know why two programs should have such radically different experiences, they should just do what they’re supposed to.
I’ve held this position for a long time. Guns are designed to kill. They are they threat of death even if the trigger isn’t pulled. They are there to force compliance with the bearer, for good or for ill. Even as a “tool” to put food on the table, they kill the thing that is to be food.
That said, I don’t have too much problem with guns. I have major problems with those who own them, make them, or turn them into part of identity politics.
They are exploited for profit and control, and the mulish obstinacy of gun owners in general is in part their enslavement to identity politics and those that profit from it - the politicians looking for election and money in the pockets of the manufacturers and supporting lobbies. Guns have become fashion accessories for the owners, and are often treated with similar gravity. Gun owners feed guns to criminals because of lax storage security on the owner’s part - just leave them in the car or closet unsecured - and they get stolen, used in crimes, for which they gun nuts “need” to buy more guns to leave laying about for instant access and which can be stolen. Nearly 80% of guns used in crimes are taken without permission or stolen from owners.
And the worst part are the killing sprees, workplace or schools, where gun owners just distance themselves so that the rest of society can be the victims of their refusal to regulate their hobby.
Guns can be safely kept in a society. There are plenty of countries that manage it. In this context I’m going to use this line: “Guns don’t kill people, people do”….and the people doing the killing are the owners that refuse to deal with regulating and securing guns.
The real “illuminati” or new world order. Not some jewish or liberal cabal, no…it’s these clowns working to shift the world to right wing oligarchy and fascism. As usual, it’s projection. The right wing actually doing what they make up about everyone else.
Even though they ask I have all the tracking and blocking plugins. Ask away.
Maybe for some. Government sites that I use do this deliberately (not accept your current password) to make you change it. Pretty frustrating the first few times it happened, but now I know that when this happens it’s because of a password change requirement. It’s been years and they still haven’t just made a “time to change” prompt.
Yeah, this. There are sites for some maddening reason that don’t bother to tell you it’s time to change your password, they just force you to reset it without telling you why. Gotta be some kind of lazy shortcut to do it this way and not prompt the user that a password change is required.
Thanks for the insight.
That might be it.
They’re all here. Literally called “Elemelons” on this site. Someone’s already figured them out for you.
Eh, probably has to a bit with the mushroom itself - how it was grown, handled, dried, age, and stored - as much as it does with the individual consuming it.
I’m not judging one way or the other. Just trying to sort the math out.
One commenter says 0.1mg is 6x normal, another says 1-2g is normal (huge difference in quantity) and usually microdosing isn’t something people do to feel stronger effects (though stuff affects people differently, again not judging you).
Yeah, top comment says they had a crazy trip on 0.1g which was supposedly “x” times the normal dose. Next comment states that normal is 1-2g, and 0.1g (100mg as you said) is indeed microdosing.
I’m just trying to figure out the math, but it’s not a big deal. I don’t consume anyway.
So is the parent comment wrong? 0.1g should have minimal effect?
Oh there are so, so many awful movies that I loved as a kid that I have a positive memory of but would be better off not watching again to ruin that memory.
Legend would have to be one of them. It’s still a spectacle to watch, and Tim Curry is incredible as Darkness, Robert Picardo is Meg Mucklebones, but it’s so far over the top it’s a fever dream.
Cave Man with Ringo Star, Shelly Long, and Dennis Quaid. Laughed so hard I cried when I was a kid. Watched it again not too long ago and it’s pretty bad.
Whoopee Boys, same as Cave Man. Cannot rewatch.
Buckaroo Banzai, Revenge of the Nerds, so many other bad movies I loved as a kid. Most of the cheap action films too. Schwarzenegger’s, Stallone’s, Van Damme’s…so bad, lol. There were some absolutely great ones, though…the original Predator (‘87) comes to mind.
Have you seen what acquiring lots of mainstream users does to a platform?
How are these full of spam? Does nobody maintain their email? I’ve had the same address for over 20 years and rarely get spam.
