My cousin was an Olympic sprinter and that couldn’t make me give a fuck about the Olympics. Honestly it just seems like another thing to distract families so they have something to talk about. Also, the committee is basically run by the mob. Hard pass.

I used to work for a cell phone “fixer” place. The quotations are because the hardware and software on iPhones is so locked down. Usually we would get iPhones that broke in a way that was out of warranty. Their warranty sucks. You will pay for your iPhone until it dies. Then you will pay for a new one. Android based devices followed suit. Neither had this problem starting out.

AI needs to be treated with calm patience. It needs to be contained and observed so we can realise its potential in a safe, contained environment. Instead we’re immediately using it to replace what the wealthy don’t have and can never possess. Born-in talent. Artistry, humour. It’s what you can’t buy. It makes the people capable of creativity high value. And we can’t have that, can we?

Those numbers are off. It takes me about half an hour to cook a meal. I clean while things are cooking if I can. And it takes me about the same time to eat. I get that it’s a joke, but it’s entirely unrealistic unless you’re doing things very wrong.

I agree with the people saying that being able to cook for yourself should be considered a key skill. My birthday meal when I was a kid was called a jigs dinner and if my grandma hadn’t taught me how to make it her way then it would have been lost. Having that said. We are talking about eating out, which is a thing that humans have been doing for awhile. I can get a feature meal at McDonald’s for just over $15. Across the street I can get a half pound jalapeno burger with onion rings and a beer for about $20. We need to start giving value to small businesses. Because they do produce quality and value.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We can’t imagine what it’s like to be that obscenely wealthy. Logic would state that it works the other way too. They have very little concept of humanity in general. You and I would be the same if no one in the world could tell us “no”. It’s a form of psychosis, in my humble opinion.
