I use teams all day every day and I hate it. Only thing that makes it bearable is that my coworkers and I spam each other with jokes and memes all day to cope with how much we hate working with end users.

It was for a client at work, so I couldn’t. I don’t know how to install Linux, either. I’m going to try once I get a charger for my old laptop. It isn’t a big priority though. I’ve been playing around with my Steamdeck in desktop mode to try to learn some Linux stuff and it’s been going okay.

Getting OneDrive uninstalled fully is a nightmare. I got rid of it but it was still trying to sync. Like wtfff

I love training animals. Dogs, cats, horses, ducks. It’s so rewarding because almost all animals you bond with want to please. Ducks are kinda hit or miss in regards to pleasing, but they can all respond to the phrase “go to bed” if you teach it to them.

I’m running on a single hour of sleep. Thank God I am working from home today because I’m SUFFERING. and of course a day that’s supposed to be slow is the day we get absolutely slammed with stuff. I can’t handle this. Might cry on my lunch tbh

My major on college started off with 12 women in my class. At graduation, there were only 3 of us. Dealing with the sexism made most of the women drop out and go into something different. I stuck with it because I wanted to be successful in it out of spite. I see a lot of my former classmates working local retail jobs because they can’t get anything in this field. Honestly feels good to be more successful than the men who looked down on me lol.

I mean, I’m the only woman tech my company has hired ever, so your statement is kinda accurate.

I would love to fit that description and I hope my coworkers think I’m cool lol. I never want to be in a position of power in this field because I have already dealt with enough dumb bullshit on the daily lol

But, like, are there types of IT women? Asking cause I am one and don’t know any tropes for us lol

I don’t donate to charity, but I do donate to the Special Olympics in my area. My little sister is an athlete in it and she is thriving now that she’s part of something. It’s a really good thing for everyone involved and I want it to continue. I’ve never seen proof in my area that charities are actually putting donations to use in a tangible way. I’ve looked into it, too, out of curiosity.

And I thought my house was chaotic with my beagle, golden doodle, and cats all working together to be absolute menaces.

I love my beagle because he’s my boi. I will never own another one though. They’re so loud.

My beagle really likes bread. If I’m eating a sandwich in front of him, he’ll stare at me and whine. If he’s feeling really bold, he’ll start baying at me. It’s kind of hilarious ngl
