It’s made by people who’ve never had to do customer support.

If you’re rating people, then it’s better that you just don’t rate if they did a good job. Because corporations only see 4 and 5 as good, everything else is bad. So you rating someone’s good performance as 3 just hurts them for doing a good job.

I worked for AWS for a few years and one of our performance targets was customer correspondence rating, we had a target of 4.67. That means anything below a 5 brought you under the target. You also got to have a meeting with a team lead and quality lead for anything rated 3 and below.

Nebula isn’t really even in the same ballpark, super weird to include it there. Not sure when YouTubers started minting blu-rays and DVDs…

I think you missed the part where I said that the zelots completely ignore the legitimate reason why people use it over JF. Same reason I use it.

Also you can literally opt out of the data sharing, the button is right there. And if you don’t live in a corporate shit hole like the US, data protections make sure that they won’t use it without your consent or even store it because it’s protected PII.

Tbh, the way people push Jellyfin every single time Plex is mentioned is so extremely annoying that I’m now even less inclined to use it, especially the way the JF zelots completely ignored the legit reason that most people use it.
