Depends on the game really, but in general I agree.

Some early access games have the core gameplay loop done they’re just not feature complete, and some early access games didn’t nail the loop before being abandoned. Some are barely functional when abandoned, and some are thinly veiled tech demos.

And some early access games have been in early access forever constantly ballooning in scope and will likely never leave early access. And some came with an initial scope that should’ve been a huge red flag for everyone but then they basically went into “maintain appearances” mode (scams like Star Citizen)

I think Beehaw isn’t on the good list here because the account that shared the meme is on Lemmy World which isn’t federated with Beehaw.

So it’s a lack of knowledge of the users that left it off not any nefarious intent.

But that’s my 2 cents.

Grand scheme things got me nervous though

I’m really not excited going into this year

There are aspects I’m looking forward to but there’s an air of DREAD hanging over 2025 that can’t be ignored

I just wanna love on a boat going all over the place

Only problem is to get a boat that could do that (even going full cheap AF route) is so bloody expensive

Not to mention I basically have to have at least a small income stream otherwise I can’t see a doctor

I keep looking at my spreadsheet going “someday”

Not to brag or nothing but my boss gave me Monday off

They told me, “Don’t fucking come in on Monday or I’ll have security will haul you out!”

I’m going to enjoy my free day off before heading back in on Tuesday.

It’d be like a studio needing to fill a role for a black character with a black actor, putting out a casting call for black actors, then a famous black actor coming out against it.

It’s stupid and only harms those that he’s trying to help.

I worked in the food service industry for 5 years, yes they absolutely do.

We had to call the police on people multiple times in those years for things as simple as “1 too many pickles on burger” because the dude got 4 pickles when he asked for 3.

Every single day, multiple times a day, people came in and lost their shit because they were hungry.

Seemingly once a year my windows machine goes into an infinite loop of bluescreens. It’s because of my wireless/bluetooth card everytime.

Windows will update the driver during one of it’s bug updates, fail, then I have to go into safe mode and install the correct driver. Then it’s business as usual.

Windows doesn’t seem to care that I told it to never update my drivers, it’ll still do it once a year.
