They’re actually an environmental nightmare. It takes 10000 pounds of rose petals to make a single pound of rose oil, for example. They are poisonous to aquatic life and house pets, flammable, lavender and tea tree oils are endocrine disruptors. I don’t know what problems you think they solve, but I only ever used peppermint oil when I worked in ER and someone rolled in who had shit their pants, a couple of drops inside a mask and you can continue working without throwing up.
I also find you really have to watch your yeast. It might say it’s not expired, but if your dough starts to not rise very well, dump it and get a new one. Yeast is finicky.
Yes once you get the hang of it after a few loaves it’s so easy. I make bread all the time, and so much cheaper too.

Geocities was a website where you could host your own website devoted to whatever you liked. It would be called barenakedladies.geocities.com or whatever name you picked. The pages tended to look awful, because we didn’t know how to code them, and they had this sort of drag and drop template thing. Mine actually didn’t look half bad though, but they tended to look like this:
