💀💀 seems like dd commands and gnome’s MultiWriter might be the only ways to flash stuff on linux
At least on Thunder (the app) you can. I think many others support it as well.
It’s not that I dont see anything related to those blocked keywords, but it keeps it to a kinda moderate amount for my health:) (I initially blocked them hoping that if many people stopped caring about them they might had smaller reach, but it appears it didnt work out. (PS. I’m from Greece))
I think I’ll agree and I tend to forget that I’ve already filtered out posts with the keywords trmp and msk (did that about a year ago).
Interested in this as well, posting a comment here just to find the post more easily:)
If you use a mozilla account it automatically installs addons that you have on other browsers, that might be why you think it’s installed by default.😅
Yeah, (among others) I really want to learn git to sync dotfiles and the nixos configs
(Hopefully I’ll probably have tranitioned to nixos in a few months. If I get good enough and somehow build a nas, I might use nixos instead of debian in the server too.)
Oh thank you for the detailed answer😄
I think codeberg is for me in my case. (Btw, I barely know git, I’m gonna read a guide today.) I really like foss, so I will probably create foss stuff.
I really want to make a nas in the future, so I might host my own forgejo instance locally and possibly keep a backup on a cloud storage provider (bought 2tb lifetime on filen). I have somewhat big plans for my nas, but I don’t know what I’ll eventually do😆
So far I barely use git, so I probably dont need to rent a cloud server. Thanks again though:)
Yo thank youu:)
Quick question: forgejo is the git program that you can install self host a git server, while codeberg is probably the biggest forgejo-kind git server that is open to the public, right?
I dont have a home server to host forgejo (yet?), so I’m thinking of making an account on codeberg, is that correct reasoning?
Ugh, I didnt think about that😬
It would be easier if it was 1.88 and 1.56 :)

Hello everyone!😂😂
Yeah I should probably do a test some day. I’m visiting various doctors lately to fix vairous issues, I will probably go there too eventually.
It’s even worse when you are in a closed space… I went this year to a concert unprepared (in closed space) without my earplugs and ouchhh, I thought I had lost some hearing due to the strong temporary ringing (I still have some doubts whether my hearing is ok). Same with clubs, I dont go often but I might start bringing my earplugs there too
Oh I wasnt aware that there could be such a problem, I ~hadnt ever encountered such an issue.😅
Huh, maybe Im weird, but I ~use the water to just wash out the soap (and maybe sometimes I pour hot water for a minute to relax).
I made my process even more efficient few years ago by applying soap both at the head and body before removing it (used to first wash the hair and then the body) and I no longer wash my hair twice (unless the 1st wash wasnt enough).
Edit: I’m from Greece in case it’s a culutral difference
From wikipedia:
A Navy shower […] is a method of showering that allows for significant conservation of water and energy by turning off the flow of water in the middle portion of the shower while lathering.
Dont people just turn off the water when they apply soap to themeselves?
Yeah (but I dont use it very much😅)
